A fashion week discourse

What would fashion week be without Milan? What would Milan be without fashion week? I guess they are dependent on each other. Milan is such a great vibrant city I almost moved here to live an italian fashion life but as always, plans have their own way and things turned out differently. Luckily I can come back twice a year to this vibrant, busy but italian busy way of life. Also this time I had the chance to attend some great events. One of them was the presentation of the capsule collection of Marina Rinaldi with Roksanda. I have to say that this was one of my favorite capsules, powerful and strong. I like the way how the complexion went together with the geometrical design.

Flawless textures and well composed colors for autumn. The event was followed by a great dance performance in the evening. After a lot of impressions during the day we didn’t went all crazy and attended another fashion party. We chose the granny way and went back to the hotel. Hello fashion week life in bed before 10pm.

For the next day I went shortly to the Reese of Marina Rinaldi Spring Summer 2020. A Hispanic, Mexican influence which brought me directly back to warmer temperatures and sand under my feet which I actually just have left some days ago.

Was waere die Fashionweek ohne Mailand? Was waere Mailand ohne die Fashionweek? Beide profitieren voneinander. Mailand ist eine unfassbar lebhafte Stadt in welche ich fast einmal gezogen waere um ein typisch italienisches Fashionlife zu leben, doch die Dinge kommen ja doch immer anders als erwartet. Glücklicherweise habe ich die Möglichkeit zwei mal im Jahr zurück zu kehren, in eine Stadt so lebhaft und stressig, italienisch-stressig. Wie jede Saison hatte ich auch dieses mal wieder die Gelegenheit die Praesentation der Capsule Kollektion von Marina Rinaldi x Roksanda zu sehen.

Es gab schon viele fabelhafte Kollaborationen von Marina Rinaldi aber diese ist bei weitem eine meiner absoluten Favoriten. Ausdrucksstark, tolle Farben und Kombinationen genau das was ich mir jetzt im Herbst wünsche. Klassisch aber durch die geometrischen Prints nicht zu steif.

Nach einer spannenden Danceperformance ging es allerdings fuer uns nicht auf die nächste Fashion-Party sondern zurück ins Hotelzimmer. Ich sag nur Hallo Fashionweek life im Bett vor 22 Uhr.

Vor der Abfahrt bin ich schon schnell in den Showroom von Marina Rinaldi gesprungen und habe mir die Frühjahrs/Sommer Kollektion angesehen. Ein toller Mix aus Prints und Stoffen welcher einen an die Farbvielfalt von Mexiko erinnern soll. Kaum ist der Sand unter meinen Fuessen verschwunden freue ich mich schon ihn mit dieser Kollektion wieder zu spüren.
